Getting an email that a class has been cancelled is one of the greatest joys in college. On Sunday night, some Georgia Southern students got a curious note from their professor.
Tyson Davis is listed on Georgia Southern’s website as a Multimedia Film and Production instructor. Who can blame the guy? You just witnessed your hopes and dreams get dashed in one of the most spectacularly awful ways possible — which means nobody wants to sit in a lecture hall on a Monday and examine the merits of French realist cinema of the 1930’s.
It’s not just Georgia Southern — it was a bad day in Atlanta schools, as well.
Numerous students called out sick with maladies ranging from “Falcons depression” to “Failed to Rise Up.” Hopefully everyone gets better soon.
